How to pay for an Airbnb reservation

Pay for Airbnb with Ultimate or Simple. Choose your card, then a suitable payment method; available options depend on the region and purchase.

Check your chosen card’s balance in AnyPay. Move money from the wallet to the card if needed: merchants charge the card balance.

Pay with Ultimate

These are the payment methods available with Ultimate. Choose one suitable option.

Option 1 — on the official website

Pay for Airbnb using your Ultimate details. Copy the billing address from this card’s details in AnyPay.

  1. Sign in to Airbnb, choose accommodation and select Reserve. Check dates, guests, cancellation terms and the payment schedule.
  2. Choose card payment. Open Ultimate in AnyPay and enter its number, expiry date and CVV/CVC. Use your real name in Latin letters and the billing address from the card details (Singapore).
  3. Check the total and confirm the purchase. If prompted for 3D Secure, complete it in AnyPay and return to the merchant.
  4. Wait for confirmation and check the purchase or subscription in the intended account. Do not repeat a payment while it is processing.

Option 2 — with Apple Pay

Use this option when Apple Pay is shown at Airbnb checkout. You do not need to enter the card number again on the merchant’s website.

  1. Add Ultimate to Apple Pay using the guide below before checkout. Check the card balance.
  2. Open the purchase in Airbnb and select Apple Pay if it is available for your region and order.
  3. Select Ultimate in the Apple Pay sheet, review the total and authenticate on your device. Wait for the merchant’s confirmation.

Option 3 — with Google Pay

Use this option when Google Pay is shown at Airbnb checkout. You do not need to enter the card number again on the merchant’s website.

  1. Add Ultimate to Google Pay using the guide below before checkout. Check the card balance.
  2. Open the purchase in Airbnb and select Google Pay if it is available for your region and order.
  3. Select Ultimate in the Google Pay sheet, review the total and authenticate on your device. Wait for the merchant’s confirmation.

Pay with Simple

These are the payment methods available with Simple. Choose one suitable option.

Option 1 — on the official website

Pay for Airbnb using your Simple details. Copy the billing address from this card’s details in AnyPay.

  1. Sign in to Airbnb, choose accommodation and select Reserve. Check dates, guests, cancellation terms and the payment schedule.
  2. Choose card payment. Open Simple in AnyPay and enter its number, expiry date and CVV/CVC. Use your real name in Latin letters and the billing address from the card details (Hong Kong).
  3. Check the total and confirm the purchase. If prompted for 3D Secure, complete it in AnyPay and return to the merchant.
  4. Wait for confirmation and check the purchase or subscription in the intended account. Do not repeat a payment while it is processing.

Option 2 — with Google Pay

Use this option when Google Pay is shown at Airbnb checkout. You do not need to enter the card number again on the merchant’s website.

  1. Add Simple to Google Pay using the guide below before checkout. Check the card balance.
  2. Open the purchase in Airbnb and select Google Pay if it is available for your region and order.
  3. Select Simple in the Google Pay sheet, review the total and authenticate on your device. Wait for the merchant’s confirmation.

If something went wrong

Open only the situation that matches your issue.

If payment fails
  • Check the card balance, selected funding source in Wallet, and any pending verification in AnyPay.
  • Check your account region, availability of the selected payment method and billing details.
  • If the payment keeps failing, stop and contact the Care Team with the service, card type, payment method, amount, currency, time and error message. Never send the full card number, CVV or verification codes.

Check the number and country code. If Airbnb does not accept it, use your own number from a supported country; a foreign eSIM with a phone number and SMS reception may work. Contact Airbnb support if the error persists.
